What is a Literacy Hub?
A literacy hub is a facility that promotes literacy for all community members. Our hubs are based in peri rural communities where the level of literacy is low and the access to books and other literacy enhancing tools are not easily accessible.
Our facilities address matters such as:
- Youth unemployment
- Lack of literacy
What is inside a Literacy Hub?
Our literacy hubs differ from community to community but essentially they consist of the items listed below:
- A collection of atleast 6000 books
- A literacy hub manager
- 3 research computers
